Product & Technology Executive · Coach · 30+ Years

Product and technology are what I do. People are why I do it.

I'm a product and technology executive with more than thirty years leading across business, technology and people and, today, the founder of Nexus Connect. My work sits at the intersection of technology and human potential, where real transformation begins. I lead as a servant leader and coach: leadership isn't about titles, it's about helping people, teams and businesses grow.

My story

I've spent over 30 years working across multiple industries and geographies, leading in product, digital transformation, and technology. For me, work has always been about the people on the other side of every decision, every initiative, and every conversation.

I grew up and built my experience and skills in South Africa, where I worked across the insurance, retail, and financial services sectors, focused on infrastructure, operations, service and project delivery, treasury and card systems, data warehousing and analytics. I've delivered complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple countries, operating from hands-on execution through to operational and strategic leadership.

In 2014, my family and I moved to New Zealand for the opportunity to grow and build a legacy. I started as a project manager and grew into product and technology leadership.

That growth came from learning alongside people as much as leading them. I've spent years developing leaders and teams, not only applying book knowledge but also bringing real-world experience into every room. That's not something I switch on at work and off at home. It's simply how I'm wired.

My faith is my anchor. It shapes how I lead, serve, and show up. It keeps me focused on what matters: making a difference today with tomorrow in mind, being genuinely present with my family, never stopping learning, and always looking for a better way to do things.

I try to live by one approach: you should leave better than when we met.

If that resonates, whether you're navigating change, building a team, or looking for a thinking partner on product, technology and strategy I'd welcome the connection and conversation.
